This amazing woman has long supported the Ukrainian army by making camouflage nets tailored for individual units. Ukraine has an enormous variety of environments, and each area, with its specific flora, requires camouflage with a unique colour combination. She works entirely on a voluntary basis, as do the volunteers who have now joined her – most of them women of retirement age. A typical example of how important the commitment of the whole society is for endurance and success in this war of attrition.
